Service is friendly,pizzas are tasty, but you have to try the white pimento cheese spread. I have to restrain myself from buying it each time I go in there! (I live close by, so if I indulged at will it would be disastrous!) The deli foods are quite reasonably priced and freshly made, but the grocery prices reflect Woodard's convenient location. Great little friendly grocery store! (Seriously, try the pimento cheese...lol)
Normally when I walk into a place that has over half the tables covered in debris from the previous customers, the condiment area looks like a meteor hit it and the whole room is an unorganized I normally walk out the door. It was after 7 PM and we were hungry in this small town that rolls up the street mid afternoon. This deli is inside the Woodard's grocery store. The order counter puts your back to the aisles of groceries. It has a dining room off to the side. The Yelp address was completely wrong and had this many miles away (in a different town, Lewisburg) and I'm sure many Yelpers have missed out. I submitted a correction, but just noticed 4 weeks later, it hasn't been corrected. I ordered a cheeseburger, fries and a side salad. The monstrous salad was out quickly. It was full of iceberg lettuce, tomatoes, shredded carrots, sliced cucumbers and shredded cheese! It was big enough for two people! The double cheese burger was not only huge but perfectly grilled and the star was the meat flavor and thick tomato slice! The fries were nothing special crinkle cut, but they really tasted good! My GF had the Club and it was absolutely perfectly made with exception quality and taste to match. Staff was friendly and the price was crazy low! I suspect after looking the breakfast menu over that that may be the best options in this small town. Had the place been clean and organized, this would have been 6 star worthy!!
